Cayti Laughery (Johnson)

Cayti started dancing at the age of 3. She has danced for Simi Dance Center, Dance Horizons, and West Coast Dance Academy. When it comes to Choreography, she was BORN with the gift!

Cayti choreographs for our Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop teams and is strong in all genres of dance. Cayti has received multiple awards for Top Choreographer, Best Choreography, Costume Design, and specialty judge awards. Cayti’s competition teams consistently place 1st Overall at every Regional and Nationals that JDI attends. Many of her dancers have received scholarships and cash prizes. JDI Dance Company has been awarded Top Studio yearly since 2014 for having the highest scoring routines.

Cayti never fails to amaze the staff, dancers, and dance families with her new ideas, creative choreography, and incredible props. Cayti has made a name for herself and is a highly sought out choreographer and instructor in the dance industry. Cayti has a passion and love for dance and her dancers. She enjoys every day with them on the dance floor and watching them bring her ideas to life. In addition to being an extremely talented choreographer and instructor Cayti is co-owner of JDI Dance Company. Cayti continues her dance education and along with her sister works hard to offer the absolute best dance program possible to their JDI families.
