Kassidy Lord

Kassidy’s dance journey began at JDI Dance Company when the studio first opened, where she spent nine years training as a competitive dancer. Today, she is an award-winning instructor and sought-after choreographer who travels throughout the United States to set choreography for other studios.

Specializing in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Open, and Jazz, Kassidy brings a distinctive creative vision to the dance floor. Her choreography combines intricate musicality, dynamic movement, and compelling performance, creating routines that challenge her dancers and leave a lasting impression. Her teams and soloists have earned numerous first-place overall titles at regional and national competitions, along with perfect score and multiple choreography awards across all three styles.

As an instructor, Kassidy is deeply invested in helping her dancers reach their potential. She emphasizes strong technique, attention to detail, and teamwork while encouraging dancers to bring confidence and individuality to their performances. Her dedication extends through every stage of the process, from learning the first counts to stepping onto the national stage.

Having grown up at JDI, Kassidy brings a meaningful personal connection to her role. She is proud to give back to the studio that helped shape her and passionate about inspiring the next generation to work hard, trust their abilities, and take pride in what they can accomplish together.
